African Dating Connections ("ADC," "we," "us," "our") is operated by private individuals based in Ontario, Canada. This platform is provided strictly as an online meeting and communication tool. We are not a matchmaking agency, escort service, or relationship counselling service.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO ADC IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100.00).

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
ADC is intended for adults seeking genuine romantic connections. The platform is not for solicitation, commercial activity, recruitment, or any purpose other than personal use.
All accounts must complete identity verification before activation. This process requires:
Documents are reviewed manually by ADC staff within 1–2 business days. We reserve the right to reject any submission that is unclear, appears altered, or does not match the selfie photograph.
Data handling: ID documents are encrypted, stored in a private directory inaccessible to other users, and are deleted from our servers after successful verification. We do not sell or share your ID documents with third parties, except as required by law.
While identity verification significantly reduces fraud, we cannot guarantee that all users are who they claim to be. Verification confirms the existence of a real person behind an account, not the accuracy of all profile information.
You agree not to use ADC to:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without refund, and may be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
ADC offers three membership tiers:
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms of service. ADC does not store your full credit card details.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months except as required by applicable consumer protection law.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice by email or in-app notification.
Daily view limits reset at midnight UTC. Unused views do not carry over to the next day.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@africandatingconnections.com. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Deleted account data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We use essential cookies for authentication (httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
By uploading photos or other content to ADC, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform. You retain all ownership of your content.
You warrant that any content you upload does not infringe any third-party rights and is not illegal. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.
Your safety is important to us. Please follow these guidelines:
Use the in-app "Report" feature to flag any user who makes you feel unsafe or who you suspect is violating these terms. Our team reviews all reports within 1 business day.
For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (911 in Canada).
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice or refund, if we determine that you have violated these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases. Sections 1 (Disclaimer), 6 (Privacy), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of ADC shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the ADR Institute of Canada, held in Toronto, Ontario, conducted in English.
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
